i interned at soronko academy the fall of 2021 for five months while i was studying abroad in Ghana. my main tasks were to shoot content for Soronko Academy’s social media and website, and this is where i learned event photography and how to shoot large groups of people.

soronko academy is a digital education skills center in West Africa aimed at giving young women and children access to coding, technology, and web skills. these images were made both in accra and while traveling outside of capital city to meet other sister coding academies and students.
